Since it's a bright sunny day today, mummy, daddy, mak long and Cik Waya decided to venture out and explore the park and have a bt of a picnic. We packed all the left overs that we had from the night before and off we went. The park is only a 5 minute drive from mak long's place. It has a beautiful lake where all sorts of water sports activities take place as well as a popular place for fishing. It also has a small stream (running alongside it (not for fishing though!!!)
There is a big green field on one side of the lake for people to just bask in the sun, enjoying the beautiful view and relax - and that was what we did. Upon arrival, with all the gear in hand, off we went to pick the perfect spot to have our picnic. At this point, Cik Waya was already brimming with excitement.
We found our spot, laid out the blanket and the wonderful goodies that we had packed. Waya was happy running around in the open field. Whenever a puppy made an unwelcome visit to our spot, cik waya said "Bay tutup mata, kakut!" (translates to Baby tutup mata, takut). We kicked around some ball, rolled on the grass and waya went with daddy to watch some guy catch some fish.
After about 2 hrs and a bit, we started to clear up and get ready to leave. Before we left, made a pit stop at the little cafe for some ice cream.
